This feature answers incoming calls around the clock, greets callers in a natural, conversational voice, handles common questions, captures lead details, and routes calls to the appropriate contact.
The product responds to changing habits around voicemail and unknown callers. A 2020 Pew Research Center survey of more than 10,000 U.S. adults found that roughly four in five Americans generally do not answer calls from unknown numbers, and about one in seven reports ignoring voicemails entirely. For small businesses, that pattern means calls from unknown numbers rarely lead to callbacks, regardless of how clearly a message is left. Voiply’s small-business phone service now includes an AI-powered call-handling option that captures and documents missed calls, preventing them from being lost.

The feature is an add-on to the company’s VoIP phone service for small businesses and can be activated without technical setup.
